"Dr. Cristina” as she is known by her patients and their parents is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She was born in Romania and spent a year in Austria before calling Fresh Meadows, Queens her permanent home. She received her B.S. in Biology from St. John’s University in 2002 and went to Columbia University School of Dental Medicine to fulfill her dream of becoming a dentist. After receiving her D.D.S. from Columbia University, she went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Cai Zhang was born in China and moved to the U.S. at the age of four. She was raised in San Diego, CA where she attended San Diego State and then obtained her D.D.S degree from University California San Francisco in 2013.
She continued her studies with specialty training in pediatric dentistry at NYU-Lutheran Medical Center. During her residency she received extensive training treating children under different behavior management techniques (Nitrous oxide, Oral and I.V sedation and cases under general anesthesia).
